DAY: 1 Arrival in Srinagar and Local Sightseeing

Welcome to the enchanting city of Srinagar! Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be greeted and assisted with your transfer to your hotel. Embark on a journey through the majestic Mughal Gardens: "Nishat" (Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All), marveling at their intricate design and historical significance. Enjoy a serene drive alongside the lake on Boulevard. Explore a local Handicrafts Emporium, famous for its hand-knotted silken carpets, exquisite shawls, and intricate jewelry. Post lunch, visit the revered Shankaracharya Temple. In the evening, relish a delightful hour-long Shikara boat ride on the Dal Lake, soaking in the picturesque views often likened to Venice. End your day by browsing through the local crafts market, where you can find beautifully carved items made from Paper Mache and walnut wood. Overnight stay at a deluxe houseboat.

DAY 2: Journey from Srinagar to Pahalgam

Upon arriving in Pahalgam, check into your hotel and later explore the charming surroundings and bustling market. Pahalgam is not only a visual retreat but also a hub for trekking enthusiasts and serves as the base camp for the Amarnath Pilgrimage. Spend your evening walking along the tranquil banks of the River Lidder. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: Transfer to Gulmarg

Post breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers" and situated at an altitude of 8,700 ft. Gulmarg, 150 km from Pahalgam, boasts of being a top ski resort and houses the world’s highest 18-hole golf course. The area holds historical significance dating back to British times. Opt for a scenic cable car ride at Kongdori to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings (optional). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4: Return to Srinagar

DAY: 5 Day excursion to Sonmarg

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the "Meadow of Gold," situated at an altitude of 9,000 ft and approximately 84 km from Srinagar. Set against the backdrop of snowy mountains and clear blue skies, Sonamarg offers stunning views and is rich in trout and mahaseer in the Sindh River. You can hire ponies for a trip up to the Thajiwas Glacier, a popular local attraction during the summer. Return to your hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
