Nepal Discovery with Muktinath by Air

DAY: 2 (Kathmandu)

After breakfast, You will leave for Sightseeing at Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath. After completing the sightseeing, drive back to the hotel.

Sightseeing

Pashupatinath Temple: One of the Oldest Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Boudhanath Stupa: One of the tallest stupas in Asia.

Patan Durbar Square: It is a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its ancient palaces and temples.

Swayambhunath: An ancient religious complex atop a hill in Kathmandu.

Night stay at Kathmandu hotel.

Day 3 (Kathmandu to Pokhara: 30 mins by Flight) Take out the ACAP permit for visiting Jomsom. ACAP office is closed on Saturdays and public holidays

Today, you'll be dropped off at the domestic airport in Kathmandu to board a flight to Pokhara. Pokhara is 210 km from Kathmandu. It takes just 30 mins by Flight. On arrival at Pokhara, check in at the hotel. Later visit Sarangkot where you will enjoy the great view of Pokhara Valley and the view of the Himalayas. In the afternoon, you will Visit Bindhyabasini Temple, Devi’s Falls, and Gupteshwor Cave.
Airfare Kathmandu/Pokhara/Kathmandu–Based on current airfares, if there is a change in the fares, the supplement cost will be applicable accordingly.

Sightseeing

Sarangkot: It is the highest viewpoint in Pokhara, and offers breathtaking Panoramic vistas of the Himalayas and Stunning Sunrise views over the Pokhara Valley.

Bindhyabasini Temple: This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara, originally part of the Kaski Kingdom, with the main deity, Goddess Durga, brought from India.

Devi Falls: Devi's Falls in Pokhara is a waterfall that flows into an underground tunnel, creating a stunning sight. 

Gupteshwor Cave: It showcases impressive rock formations such as hanging formations and pillars, with a sacred shrine dedicated to Shiva located deep inside.

Day 4 (Pokhara to Jomsom: 20 mins by Flight)

On arriving at Jompson, continuing to visit Muktinath Temple, guests walk to the nearby jeep stand, a 10-15 minute walk, to catch a bumpy jeep ride. This route offers stunning Himalayan views and a chance to collect Saligrams, depending on individual luck. Upon reaching Muktinath, a 15-minute walk from the base leads to the famous Lord Vishnu temple. Guests can opt for ponies or bikes for an additional fee if unable to walk. After darshan at Muktinath Temple, return to Jomsom by jeep.

Note: Upon arrival in Jomsom via a small 18-seater aircraft, guests will walk 5 minutes to the nearby hotel, with porters arranged by the hotel to assist with luggage. Jomsom, a remote mountain village, is primarily visited for Muktinath pilgrimage and trekking. Accommodations are basic lodges with attached washrooms and common hot water geysers on all floors; no star-rated hotels are available. Guests can store excess luggage at their hotel in Pokhara.

Muktinath Temple: Muktinath Temple, located in the Mustang district of Nepal, is a sacred pilgrimage site revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Day 5 (Jomsom to Pokhara: 20 mins by Flight): 

Fly back to Pokhara and transfer to the hotel. You will walk to the domestic Airport in Jomsom to board a flight to Pokhara. Day at leisure.

Day 6 (Pokhara to Kathmandu: 20 mins approx by Flight):

Fly Back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight Stay at Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 7 (Departure):

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be dropped off at Tribhuvan International Airport.
